Cupcake Monday

Monday means it is time to get back on track. The last two weeks have just been crazy busy aroud here but that probably does not surprise you ;o)

Yesterday while DH was home we put up our tree and decorated the house for Christmas . . . I love the Christmas holidays! This week I have plans to start my Christmas baking that I keep putting off and on Thursday we are heading to the US to shop shop shop! I am going for 3 days with all the girls in my family and a couple friends. Should be a pretty good time.

Well on to the reason you stopped by today, Cupcake Monday! This weeks challenge is to create a gift card holder. I chose to try a bi-fold one.

The DT came up with a few great gift card holders, now lets see what you come up with.

Busy Busy Busy

Sorry I have been MIA for few days. I have been super busy. Last week I participated in a craft show and had an organization request that I come up with some custom gift baskets for them as a thank you for participants in one of their seminars. They were due this morning so I was super busy whiping them up. They needed 25 of them!

I decided to go with a gourmet hot chocolate basket contained in a little galvinized tin. These were for an argicultural seminar so I also included some fall planting bulbs.

These are the tins I used:

and here are some pictures of the goodies I included. One of the items is some homemade white chocolate crunch in an acitate sour cream container. I also made chocolate dipped spoons for in the mugs with the hot chocolate.:

and with the money I made from this venture, I went out and bought this:

I feel a little guilty that I did not use the money to pay bills or something for the house but I really needed a new laptop and the money was an unexpected extra so why not ;)

Monday Again ?!?!

I cannot believe how quickly a week flies by!

Not much going on around here today. I need to get started on doing some Christmas baking so I am hoping to get to that. I have an order for 9 trays so I better hop to it soon.

Well Monday means its Cupcake day! This weeks Cupcake Craft Challenge is to create a card using a Digital Image! This week the DT was given images from Sketching Stamper to work with and one lucky winner this week will be able to work with them too.

Craft Show Time

Sorry I have not been here in a few days but not only have I been working but I have also been prepping for a Christmas craft show this weekend. I am selling my cards as well as my homemade candy. This year I made chocolate suckers, cranberry graham mix, peppermint bark and Maple Pecan fudge. For my it is not just about the sweets though it is also about the packaging so I thought I would share one of my bag toppers with you today. The pictures are not the greatest as we are having a pretty gloomy day here today.

I attached these toppers to frosted bags that I purchased from Paper Tray Inc and I think they turned out pretty nice and the candy inside is delish!
